MOR Lychee Flower Hand Cream

I’m a sucker for good hand creams. They are one of my ‘must have’ beauty products (find out why here) and you’ll always stumble across one, two or three different tubes residing in my makeup bag, or stuffed in the side pocket of my uni tote. While I have many favourites, which I love for different reasons, MOR’s Lychee Flower Hand Cream is right up there – in fact, it’s currently boasting a possie in my exclusive top three. Impressive right?

But if you’re not familiar with MOR cosmetics, then you wont be aware that their packaging is always, 100% of the time, absolutely divine. This is a big winner for me, and many other beauty writers out there, as we tend to be suckers for luxurious looking products. Maybe it’s because with so much economic uncertainty around the world at the moment it is nice to have a hand cream, or a lip gloss, or whatever, that makes you feel great. Or maybe it’s just because we like pretty things, who knows? My point is that I fell in love with this beauty(full) product at first glance.

If you’re not sucked in by it’s looks, as soon as you crack open the tube you will fall in love with the creams scent. It’s scented with sweet Lychee Flowers and ripe berries that will leave you taking a deep whiff, cradling it in your mind for a while and breathing out a goofy ‘sigh.’ My boyfriend, RW, loves it and I’ve had another male co-worker comment on how fantastic it smells.  However, it is actually quite strong, but if your not into heavy scents there is no need for panic, it settles quite quickly. Phew.

While this product contains Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and essential Vitamins, I do think that it’s not the most nourishing hand cream I’ve used – but please keep in mind that I have terribly dry hands (mostly due to working with coffee), so I need all the extra moisture I can get. Having said that, I rectify this problem by mixing it with the tiniest drop of QV intensive moisturiser – easy fixed.

It’s fantastically absorbent (which I love) and doesn’t leave any sticky residue on your hands. What’s more, the product is free of parabens (a term that’s used to class nasty chemicals that are used in some prodz as preservatives) and synthetic dies. Good one!

So if you’re feeling like you need to indulge in a little personal luxury, why not find yourself a sexy beauty item? Like a hand cream from MOR’s range, for example.

Did I mention that MOR Cosmetics are made in Australia? How fantastic! Everybody say “support down under!” Wee!

Please note that this was the first (of many) beauty reviews straight from my MBBE goodie bag! Ooh La Lychee!

I didn’t get the hand cream, got the candle from MORS instead. Goddamit, now I have the urge to pick up the Lychee hand cream even though I have a gazillion sitting all over my home.

Ooo, but I’m sure the MORS candle is fantastic too!
But the Lychee Flower is a great hand cream, could be worth the splurge (said the little devil hovering above my ear!)? Hehe! x

  2. Love this handcream but I also always have on supply MOR’s Marshmellow handcream which is a must!
